BMR Technical Design
 
 
I start my research process by reading the script and picking out terms or phrases that i want to research into. After I have my list of terms I google image search those terms or phrases. The images that I feel that work with the show I.E. Mood, Character, space, color and over all feel of the show. i save and later I sort through to make a Preliminary research board that i present to the director and the rest of the production team. Once I get feedback from the Director I do a more in depth search about how I want a set to look or a specific piece will look. I then sort through these images and make a specific research board to present to the production team. Once I have my concept for the show I move into my Ground Plans and Sketches.
